This IPT Policy Event discussed the role of social media in geo-politics, as well as the opportunity to use these tools for more effective and responsive action in emergencies and natural disasters.  Gateshead MP Ian Mearns today (Friday 30 March) began a Fellowship programme at AkzoNobel’s Felling site, which is the largest private-sector employer in the Borough of Gateshead and the company’s International Paint business headquarters.
Ian's Fellowship looks at key organisations in the North East, with a particular focus on manufacturing and skills. The Fellowship has also included visits to Sage Gateshead and C2MUK.
