Parliamentarians participating in Company Fellowships spend 18 days with a large company, gaining a unique understanding of the principles underlying the running of a major organisation. Those taking part gain practical experience of the global, economic, environmental, personnel and financial issues facing the host company by exploring its relationship with investing institutions, employees, suppliers and customers.
Each Company Fellowship is tailored to an individual’s past experience, special interests and specific objectives. Every programme includes opportunities to gain hands-on experience at all levels, from the shop floor to the boardroom.
Company Fellowships can be undertaken with a large number of companies in a whole range of different business areas, including: banking and financial services, broadcasting and media, construction, consulting, defence and aerospace, education, food and drink, finance, manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, retail, technology and telecommunications, and travel and leisure.
