| | Bill Olner MP Chairman of the Trustees Bill Olner has represented the constituency of Nuneaton as an MP since 1992. Prior to that, he served as a Nuneaton Local Councillor for 25 years. His interest in industry, however, did not come from his past political experience. On leaving school, he obtained an apprenticeship at Armstrong Siddeley & Bristol Siddeley Motors, where he became qualified as a skilled jig and vertical borer, hence beginning his involvement in industrial matters. He joined IPT after his election to Parliament, undertaking a Fellowship with GKN. This provided him with a proper understanding of the decision-making processes which are necessary for business and product development. |

| | David Amess MP David Amess has been a Conservative MP since 1983. He represented Basildon from 1983-1997 and has been the MP for Southend West since 1997. He is currently Chair of the Conservative Party Backbench Committee for Health. He became a Fellow of the IPT in 1994 after spending time with Esso. |

| | Sir David Arculus Sir David is an IPT Corporate Fellow, having attended both the European and Parliamentary Study Programmes for Industry. From 2002 to 2005 he was the Chairman of the Government's Better Regulation Task Force and he has also been a member of the National Consumer Council. He is currently a Director of Telefonica O2 and Pearson and Chairman to a number of Private Equity backed companies. He also chairs the Advisory Board of the British Library. |

| | Rosemary Brook MA FIPR Rosemary Brook is Chairman of The Argyll Consultancies Plc and has been actively involved with the IPT for over 20 years, previously chairing its Profile Group. She is an IPT Corporate Fellow and Chair of the Executive Committee. In 1993 she was named by "Best of British Women" as one of Britain's top six public relations women. She was President of the Institute of Public Relations in 1996 and Master of the City of London Guild of Public Relations Practitioners in 2004. |

| | Rt Hon Richard Caborn MP Richard has been the Labour MP for Sheffield Central since 1983 and was the Minister for Sport from 2001 to 2007. He became a Fellow of the IPT after spending time with The Standard Life Assurance Company. |
| | | Lord Corbett of Castle Vale Robin Corbett has been a Fellow of the Industry and Parliament Trust since 1979. He was the Labour Member of Parliament for Hemel Hempstead (1974-79) and for Birmingham Erdington (1983-2001) before he was raised to the Peerage in 2001. He has been Chair, Parliamentary Labour Peers since 2005. |

| | Rt Hon Sir David Edward KCMG QC Sir David Edward was the British judge at the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg 1992-2004. During these years he welcomed the delegates on IPT's European Study Programme for Industry (ESPI) at the Court of Justice. He became an IPT Trustee in 1995 and he is also a Vice President of IABP. |

| | The Baroness Harris of Richmond DL Baroness Harris is an IPT Fellow, having completed a Fellowship with Six Continents Plc in 2003. She chaired ESPI in Brussels in 2003 and has spoken on the PSPI programme as well. She has been a Magistrate for 16 years and a non-executive Director of an NHS Trust from 1990-1997. |

| | The Baroness Hooper CMG Lady Hooper was raised to the peerage in 1985. She is a solicitor and corporate lawyer by background and was an elected MEP. She became a Fellow of the IPT in 1983 with Reed Elsevier plc (then Reed International PLC). She has been a Non-Executive Director on a number of Boards and is currently a Deputy Speaker of the House of Lords and a member of the Parliamentary Delegation to the Council of Europe. |

| | | Michael Pownall Michael Pownall is Clerk of the Parliaments in the House of Lords and is the representative of the Lords Administration on the Board of Trustees. His current post involves being chief procedural adviser and chief executive. He is also Chairman of the House of Lords' Administration Management Board. |
 | | Robert Rogers Robert Rogers has been Clerk of Legislation, House of Commons since October 2006. His appointment as Clerk Assistant of the House of Commons and Director General, Chamber and Committee Services from 1 October 2009 was announced on 3 June. Since 1972 he has served in a range of procedural posts including Clerk of Private Members’ Bills and Clerk of the Select Committees on Defence and on European Legislation. He was Parliamentary Counsellor to the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe from 1992 to 1995. Robert was appointed a Principal Clerk in 1998 and since then has been Clerk of Delegated Legislation, Principal Clerk of Select Committees, Secretary of the House of Commons Commission, Clerk of the Journals, and Principal Clerk of the Table Office. Robert is a Fellow of the IPT. |

| | Professor Barry Stickings CBE Barry is a Corporate Fellow of the IPT, having completed the Parliamentary Study Programme for Industry (PSPI) in 1995. He was a member of the Executive Committee from 1995 to 2003, including four years as Chairman. He has been a Trustee since 1999 and now chairs the Audit Committee. Barry retired as Chairman of BASF plc at the end of 2004 and now holds a number of positions in both the public and private sectors. |
