Sally Muggeridge, Chief Executive Officer of the Industry and Parliament Trust, left the Trust by agreement with the Board of Trustees at the end of July 2010.
Sally says: "My decision to leave the Trust at this time has been prompted by recent emergency eye surgery following a retinal detachment. Whilst a full recovery of sight is anticipated, I have been advised to scale back significantly the amount of time necessarily spent on day to day administration. I thank the Trustees for their understanding of a situation which I could not have anticipated. This has been a most enjoyable role, working closely with both parliamentarians and business leaders."
Baroness Harris, the new Chairman of the Trust says: "We wholeheartedly thank Sally for her tremendous contribution to the successful running of the Industry and Parliament Trust and we are most grateful for her dedication and commitment to the ideals of the Trust. We wish her every success in the future and a speedy return to full health."
